When you're having issues with your Internet connection, it seems that it's never the provider's fault, because they are always right. The help you prove them wrong, Net Uptime Monitor will monitor your connection and it will record any failures and their exact time length. The application provides you with detailed reports, which can be quite useful for troubleshooting a connection.

The software is free to try for a limited time. You can install it on any modern Windows platform, without going through any complicated settings. There are no prerequisite tools to install and you don't have to sacrifice too much memory or processing power to run the application.

The application comes with a compact user interface and there is not much you can actually do. Net Uptime Monitor's purpose is to log information and provide reports. When launched, the software will start testing your connection, by pinging three different services.

Color coded indicators will let you know if the tests were successful and you can also find response times for each test. The monitoring time, file count and other details are shown on the same interface. Additionally, you can view a full log of the failures on a separate window.

Despite its simple appearance, Net Uptime Monitor lets you make a few configurations. You can specify different test servers, set different test intervals and waiting times for ping responses. It is also possible to set up alerts, with or without sounds notifications, for general alerts, reconnections and other events.

If you suspect that your Internet connection is not working properly, Net Uptime Monitor can provide you with the proof you need in just a few seconds.

Pros

The software can perform regular tests on your Internet connection. It can be set to use different test servers and it lets you set up alerts. The application is lightweight and you can have it up and running in no time.

Cons

There are no serious issues to mention.
